We are a professional and understanding clinical psychology practice situated in the heart of the Hunter at East Maitland. We have provided practical personalised assessment, interventions, advice and strategies for individuals and families living with complex psychological, cognitive, and developmental conditions for over 7 years.

Experience

We have been working closely with individuals, families, schools, government agencies, and community-based organisation to help children, teenagers, and adults with life’s challenges since 2015. Our principal Clinical Psychologist has over 17-years experience as a psychologist helping people with complex challenges and needs and spent 11 years training and working in NSW health and disability services before establishing Grant Lyall Psychology Services.

Face to Face and Telehealth sessions

These services can be provided Face to Face at our office or through telehealth via secure video conferencing or telephone when required.

To access telehealth consultations, you will need access to a quiet, private space; and the appropriate device (i.e. smartphone, laptop, iPad, computer, with a camera, microphone and speakers); and a reliable broadband internet connection. The privacy of any form of communication via the internet is potentially vulnerable and limited by the security of the technology used. To support the security of your personal information this practice uses COViU which is compliant with the Australian standards for online security and encryption.

Convenient Location

Our comfortable and welcoming purpose renovated premises is less than a kilometre from Green Hills Shopping Centre and is a short drive, bus or train ride from Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Cessnock, Singleton, and the rest of the Hunter Valley. The office is wheelchair accessible, has ample free off-street parking at the rear, has a bus stop just outside the door, and is within 20 min walk of Victoria St railway station in East Maitland.
